With a degree in accounting and years of experience in small business taxes and bookkeeping, I understand the numbers behind creative work. As a certified business educator, I know how to break down complex concepts and make them approachable, empowering, and actionable.
Beyond the books and spreadsheets, I’ve spent more than two decades immersed in the creative world. I’ve been a published fiction author for over 11 years, selling stories, handmade goods, and creative projects since middle school. I also served as a writer conference director for six years and treasurer for that same conference for six years before that—giving me a rare combination of artistic insight and event leadership that deepens my understanding of what creatives truly need.
