“I am what I believe I am – a writer. Above all I am a wife, and I’m a stay at home mother of three. My life is not mine. My days are not under my command. My family rules the roost of my domain. On any given day I’m the taxi driver, chef, housekeeper, teacher, repair person, and life coach. Then I have time to write.”
The daughter of a dairy farmer, Susan grew up writing stories and passing them amongst her classmates throughout high school, who in turn anticipated reading the next chapter of her stories. Whisked off to college, where she met her husband online and married him shortly after graduation, Susan went on to become an accountant and worked for several CPA firms and a Christian book publisher. Then her husband joined the Teach For America program and she found herself living in Detroit, MI for several years.
After the birth of their second child, this stay at home mom, residing near Morgantown, WV, picked back up her pen and began once again writing her stories. Today, with three children, and her professor husband, Susan has had the privilege of using her writing talent to inspire others in their relationships with one another and through their relationship with their heavenly father.
Susan is a member of the West Branch Writer’s, Susquehanna Writer’s Guild, Saint David’s Christian Writer’s Association, and the Romance Writers of America. She has received several awards for her writing, and is currently seeking publication.
She and her family currently reside in Pennsylvania.
