Home made Love

August 21, 2009

One year for Valentines’ Day my husband worked for a week making me a present. He stitched, glued, and constructed a gift I’ll never forget.

His love vibrated from that home made gift, and it meant so much more than anything he could have given me, and I still hold on to it today, many years later.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, well thought, well intended, and made from love. That’s what home made love is all about.

Chocolate brownies, a scribled card, a picture of the you and the one you love in a special frame. words from your heart… these are all the things that make the feelings of love alive in a relationship.

Don’t worry if it looks home made. Your effort will mean more than the appearance of your gift.
