Buds of Romance

It’s easy to click onto a website, choose a bouquet of flowers, and click send to the person you love.

Buds of romance became more inspired when the flowers in your hand are delivered in person. If you live in a place where flowers grow year-round, take a walk and pick your own. Daisies, Dandilions, tulips, Roses… just make sure you have permission.

Take your love one along for the walk, let them pick and choose as you pluck. What better way then to add buds of romance to your day?

Home made Love

One year for Valentines’ Day my husband worked for a week making me a present. He stitched, glued, and constructed a gift I’ll never forget.

His love vibrated from that home made gift, and it meant so much more than anything he could have given me, and I still hold on to it today, many years later.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, well thought, well intended, and made from love. That’s what home made love is all about.

Chocolate brownies, a scribled card, a picture of the you and the one you love in a special frame. words from your heart… these are all the things that make the feelings of love alive in a relationship.

Don’t worry if it looks home made. Your effort will mean more than the appearance of your gift.

Hallmark Greetings

Everyday doesn’t have to be Valentine’s day to give the one you love a special card.

You can go to a store and buy a Hallmark card or any other brand of card, as long as it says what is from your heart.

Take a few minutes and visit your local craft store and pick out speciality paper and make your own from the scrap booking section.  Even if you have never scrap booked before,  you can find it is quite easy to create a card.  Write what feeling inside, tell that person how special they are, or go on-line and find a quote or poem that says it for you.

Either way, somebody special is about to know how much you love them today.
